I thoroughly enjoyed this property - quirky and perfect hotel.

Grounds were kept overall clean, breakfast was delicious. All of the staff was outstandingly accommodating and smart. I had nicely furnished suite with loveseat, a decent sized desk plus great bathroom. The venue was in a central location just next door to shops in Amherst and the comfortable library: )

Our room was tastefully decorated and brand-new and it came with several fireplaces, thick blankets and good sized TV.

The suite was brand-new with great bathroom and shower, the bed was comfortable.

In relation to the good price paid, it was perfect place to stay with great service.

Spotless hotel, luxury choice for romantic stay. The suite with a gas fireplace, good sized TV and a comfortable bed. Very amiable and attentive staff and attention to detail. Good food, excellent service. Best possible location, 10 minutes' walk to Amherst College. Pretty nice area. Great way to end our weekend.

I'm glad that getting Wheelchair Accessible room with comfortable bed with nice linens and great bathroom and a marvelously comfortable king bed was not a problem. The location is marvellous, 1 mile from Amherst College.

Excellent and comfy location around 4-6 minutes walk from Black Sheep Cafe. Relaxing bar on-site, a nice size room with good sized TV, comfy chair, a comfortable bed.

Beds were a little small.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this lovely hotel right in the center of town. It was extremely convenient to be within walking distance of several colleges in the area. Plus, it was easy to get to all of the 5 colleges nearby. I was impressed with the hotel's common areas, especially the beautifully designed terrace and garden furniture. The staff here went above and beyond to make suggestions about the area and provided wonderful friendly service. The room amenities were also top-notch, with everything I needed from an ironing board to a flat-screen TV. I had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable experience.

The Inn On Boltwood in Amherst was the perfect base for our weekend getaway. We loved how it was conveniently located right next to the downtown area, just a short 10-minute walk away. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We also really appreciated the climate control in our room, as well as having a dining area and work desk. To top it off, the bonus of having free Wi-Fi was fantastic.
